Police confiscates 92 counterfeit fertilizer bags

Lilongwe police station has recovered 92 counterfeit bags of fertilizer at Sakhani Village in Traditional Authority Njewa

The suspect has only be identified as Mesius Thingo who was keeping the counterfeit fertilizer in his house

After conducting a search police found bags of NPK fertilizer bearing Falcon Company’s name

Upon thorough checking of the contents in all bags police discovered the mixture of clay soil and lime not genuine fertilizer

The seized bags are being kept at Lilongwe police station pending analysis by experts

However after learning of the invasion by police at his place he went on the run
