Ombudsman appointed ACB director

President Chakwera has appointed Ombudsman Martha Chizuma as new director of ant corruption bureau

Solicitor general Reyneck Matemba confirmed saying the name has been sent to parliament for approval

Chizuma was among three people whose names were sent to Chakwera for appointment

37 people had applied for the position but only ten were shortlisted for the interview

If approved by parliament she will be the first female director of ant corruption bureau

Matemba was the former ACB director before being appointed solicitor general
