NGO’s ordered to submit reports

As one way of promoting donor and public confidence in NGO’s NGO board has urged its members to submit their reports for the 2015 to 2016 financial year which ended in June.

This was said during a press briefing where it was revealed that out of 560 registered NGO’S in Malawi only five percent of them have managed to submit their reports.

Board Chair Abigail Mdximadxi said it is not pleasing that most of the NGO’s are not sending their reports.

“Citixens who are targeted beneficiaries of NGO operations are being denied the right,” concluded Mxingwitsa.
