Muslim World League celebrates 25 years of support in Malawi
Muslim World League has promised to continue supporting needy people in Malawi
Country director of Muslim World League Sheikh Walid has made the promise during the celebrations that the Organisation has been supporting orphans, disaster victims and other underprivileged people for 25 years
Sheikh Walid said they have been supporting many children especially orphans with school fees, people affected by disasters and drilling over 150 boreholes for clean water among other social services
In his speech secretary general of Muslim World League Dr Muhammad Al-Issa from Saudi Arabia said was pleased that children they support in Malawi are achieving their goals
Some of the beneficiaries thanked Muslim World League for its support and called for the extension of their assistance to other needy children
In his speech President Lazarus Chakwera commended Muslim World League for being a true friend of Malawi because has been assisting the country at times it needs its support
