Muslim women plant trees at Gada farm

Muslim Women Organisation (MWO) has planted 450 trees at Gada farm in Chadzunda, Blantyre.

Speaking in an interview after the exercise secretary of MWO Ema Tepan said the purpose is to cover the bare ground and prevent erosion since Gada farm is a steep slope.

“I thank the board of Muslim Association of Malawi for assisting them with the trees,” said Tepan

She advised women from Chadzunda to take care of the planted trees.

Meanwhile, Chadzunda Women Group has promised to take care of the trees.
