MDF refutes camp attack in DRC

Malawi Defense Force MDF has refuted reports that an MDF camp and several other camps have come under attack in Democratic Republic of Congo DRC.

According to reports, civilians have risen against UN peace keepers accusing them of failing to protect them.

Speaking to radio Islam, MDF Spokesperson Major Paul Chiphwanya said they are yet to receive any such reports.

Major Chiphwanya has meanwhile said “MDF will inform the nation should there be any such incident.”

According to the reports, the civilians further accuse peace keepers of looting minerals and currently several army camps have been looted by the civilians.
