Malawi Prison Service MPS has engaged the Mozambican prison service to address challenges affecting management of prisoners in both countries.
MPS spokesperson Steve Meke has said this following an engagement meeting with Mozambican delegation which visited the country.
According to Meke the delegation came in to appreciate how Malawi prison service is implementing its programs.
He said the discussion centered on overcrowding and management of foreign inmates among others which will ensure efficiency in reformation and rehabilitation of the prisoners.
