Malawi Court Fines Angolan for Injuring Cyclist

Balaka second grade magistrate Peter Nkuzi court has ordered an Angolan national Luis Vaida to pay a fine of 600 000 kwacha in default serve a 15 months jail term for injuring a pedal cyclist

The court heard that on 19^th September the convict was riding a motorcycle heading towards Liwonde and upon reaching Mpilisi EPA he hit Miliwadi Sifa aged 66

Balaka police publicist Gladson M’bumpha says Sifa sustained a fracture on his leg and was rushed to the district hospital where he is receiving treatment
