Journalists in the country have been advised to stop complaining of their salaries but invest in the little they have

This advice comes after Southern Region Press Club established a cooperative where journalists are going to pull their resources and venture into business

Speaking during the opening of the five day training on cooperative chief Executive Officer for United Civil Servants Sacco Francis Waliwa said journalists need to come together in order to come out of poverty web

Waliwa said the idea of investing will instill economic independence of journalists and professional execution of their duties.

On his part president of Southern Region Press Club Ronald Amos called the participants to actively take part in the training for smooth running of the cooperative

Amos said time had come for journalist to dream bigger to get out of poverty
