IZF says over 129 people to participate at its conference

Islamic Zakaat Fund IZF says over 129 people have expressed their interest to participate at its upcoming conference at Malawi Sun hotel in Blantyre.

According to the charity institution the conference aims among others to provide an update of funds that people have been contributing through friends of IZF initiative.

In an interview with Radio Islam IZF accountant Shaffie Msusa said the organisation is still facing challenges to raise funds as such is employing various initiatives to reach out to the masses with zakat messages which is still low among Muslims in the country.

Msusa said so far over 11 million kwacha has been realized from Friends of IZF initiative which is being implemented since 2022.

He has therefore thanked all people that continue to support education of less privileged Muslim students through the initiative and requested all able Muslims to follow.
