Government directs head teachers to release Form Four candidates in Boarding Schools after exams
Government has directed head teachers to release all Form Four candidates in Boarding Schools once they have completed the exams today
The directive has been offered in a press release on the guidelines on the release of form four candidates to ensure minimized risk of covid-19 transmission
Secretary of health Charles Mwansambo and education Chikondano Mussa say the head teachers should inform candidates, parents and guardians to ensure that once they get home should get tested for the disease at a nearest government health facility
Mwansambo and Mussa say in some schools where health personnel have already screened and tested MSCE candidates should proceed home but strictly be on quarantine for 14 days
“If they observe any covid-19 symptom they should immediately inform the local health authorities,” Mwansambo
Government has reminded the candidates to strictly observe all preventive measures when they are in transit to their homes
