Gender Ministry commends women’s participation in the May 20 polls
Ministry of gender and children welfare has commended participation of women in the May 20 tripartite elections.
Principal Secretary of the ministry Dr Mary Shawa said this in an exclusive interview with Radio Islam.
Dr Mary Shawa said if half of the women are voted into power on the May 20th challenges faced by the country will be solved.
Citing examples of female politicians, Shawa said they have helped to solved some of the problems that the country was facing.
Shawa therefore urged the aspirants to convince the voters to vote for them as there only eleven days left to the May 20 Elections.
