Gang Attacks Demonstrators, Police Fire Teargas

Police has fired teargas to disperse people who wanted to demonstrate in Lilongwe for the resignation of president  Lazarus Chakwera

This happened after a gang carrying dangerous weapons such as panga knives, axes and catapults pelted stones on demonstrators at Flea market

One of them told the protesters that everyone following Boni Kalindo the organizer of the demonstrations will be attacked

Later the gang left the Flea Market and police officers paved way for them hence blocking the road barring the demonstrators to pass

The organizers of the protests including Redson Munlo ran away

Kalindo had told the demonstrators that they heard there were some people hired to disrupt the protests
