Flooding reaches a complicated stage in Nsanje.

Flooding in Nsanje District has reached a complicated stage as authorities are failing to access affected people in most of the areas hit by the disaster.
Nsanje District Commissioner Harry Phiri has confirmed that the council and other organizations are failing to access affected people in the East Bank as all roads leading to the area of Chief Mlolo are impassable.
Phiri says the road from Bangula via Chiromo Bridge to the East Bank could not be accessed.
Phiri explains that the road through Thabwa going to the East Bank is now impassable as most of the rivers such as Mitondo are also full.
He says the situation has put them in an awkward position as they cannot deliver relief materials to the affected families.
According to Phiri, over 1, 000 households have been affected by the floods and the figure rise can rise.
