FISP Probe Begins Next Week

Parliamentary committee on agriculture has expressed hope that the national assembly will adopt a report on maize inquiry tomorrow.

Speaking in an interview with radio Islam, the committee’s Chairperson Dr Chidanti Malunga, said if adopted the report will give them strength in their probe on farm input subsidy program which starts in Blantyre next week.

“We will handle our probe in warehouses,” said Malunga

He stressed will continue advising government on right procedures to follow to improve the agriculture sector.

“We met officials from ministry of agriculture to assess FISP,” he disclosed.
