Covid-19 greatly affects Al-Barakah Charity Trust’s works

Al-Baraka Charity Trust ACT says covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected its charity works.

ACT executive director Saeed Witness in an interview with radio Islam said they are finding it difficult to run their activities as was before.

He said his organization depends on resources generated with the country hence suspending some activities to focus on the priorities.

“If resources permit we might resume some of the charity activities this year,” Witness

Al-Barakah Charity Trust (ACT) is a faith based non-governmental organization that was registered in the year 2001 with a mission to complement government, other NGOs and individuals efforts in the provision of social services to the community in Malawi with emphasis on education, health and relief.

The goal of ACT is to have at the end of two decades a more vibrant, literate, healthy and economically empowered community.
