Political analyst has asked government to avoid taking politically motivated cases to court.
Phiri argues that politically motivated cases under grades the professional work of the judicially due to the tactics that government plays.
He says, taking into consideration the longevity of the case, Dr Chilumpha may seek government compensation hence this should be a lesson learnt.
Phiri has since asked courts to discharge similar cases earlier to avoid wastage of government resources and tarnishing the accused person’s image.
