Court Adjourns MDF Appearance in Vice President’s Corruption Case

High court has adjourned the date which Malawi Defence Force MDF was expected to appear before Justice Redson Kapindu in corruption case which vice president Saulos Chilima is answering

Initially MDF through attorney general Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda was scheduled to go to the court on 17^th October

However registrar of Lilongwe High Court has announced that the date has been adjourned to 19^th October

Few weeks ago the court ordered MDF to unveil itself to clarify why an order of disclosure should not be made in favour of the accused person

Chilima is arrested of accepted 280,000 Dollars from a British businessman and other items in exchange for awarding government contracts
