Airtel Malawi CEO to head Airtel Tanzania
Airtel Malawi outgoing chief executive officer Charles Kamoto has expressed mixed feelings about his appointment to head Airtel Tanzania as Chief Executive Officer
Speaking during the 25th Airtel Malawi annual general meeting Kamoto said during his 8 years tenure he contributed to an increase in shareholders, customers and boosting revenue among others
Kamoto said was very ready to lead Airtel Tanzania adding that Airtel Malawi team is well equipped to handle future challenges
In his remarks one of the shareholders and secretary general of minority shareholders association of listed companies Frank Harawa advised Airtel Malawi to improve on dividends
He mentioned that the dividend paid in 2020 was inadequate suggesting that it should be recalled by the company or revised for the benefit of Malawians
