British High Commission has launched the support to survivors of abuse

Speaking during the launch Programme and Development Director at British High commission, Olympia Wereko-Brobby encouraged partnership with key women’s rights organizations to support victims of violence

She said the total budget for the whole programme is 0.5 billion kwacha

In her remarks Minister of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare Patricia Kaliati appealed to stakeholders to collaborate in the fight against violence and abuse against women and girls

She further said Malawi vision 2063 stipulates that no country can develop if there are high levels of violence and exploitation against women and girls
