Annamariq Organization for Relief and Development hands over Imam Bukhari Islamic Centre in Mangochi

Annamariq Organization for Relief and Development has handed over a state of art Islamic Institution called Imam Bukhari Islamic Centre in Mangochi in a bid to equip people who have reverted to Islam with Islamic Knowledge.

Speaking during the handover Ceremony, Executive Director of the Organization Abu-Bilal Walid said they decided to build the Centre after doing a research which found that Mangochi district has a large population of Muslims but few Islamic Centres

“We have invested 170 million kwacha on the project which include classes, offices, library and a minibus,” Walid

In his speech Muslim Association of Malawi spokesperson Sheikh Dinala Chabulika said are very grateful for the donation as it will go a long way in propagating Islam.

Sheikh Chabulika said previously it was very worrisome to see that many reverts lacked centers where they could learn Islam hence practice the religion well

He has however appealed to all Muslims in the country to make use of the newly built Imam Bukhari Islamic Centre
