Angry people in Ndirande stone Minister, MCP Members

Angry people in Ndirande have stoned a convoy of Minister of Information Moses Kumkuyu and other members of Malawi Congress Party MCP.

Kunkuyu was in Ndirande to woo eligible voters to people for 2025 general elections

This has forced the information Minister to suspend the tour which began Chilomoni

The situation became bad when the MCP group arrived in Ndirande Township on their way to Thyolo.

Meanwhile, Kunkuyu has condemned the violence adding police is investigating the matter

The fracas has happened few weeks after men armed with panga knives attacked people who wanted to conduct peaceful demonstrations against irregularities in electoral process
