Angry communities destroy property of business tycoon for cutting private parts of men

Angry communities from senior chief Ngokwe in Machinga have destroyed property worth millions belonging to a certain business tycoon in the area on suspicion that he wanted to cut off private parts of three men

An eye witness who asked for anonymity told Radio Islam Tuesday afternoon that the suspect commonly known as Namasani is believed to have poisoned the three men from Ntcheu district whom he hired to build his house in the area

While the suspect was on the course of cutting off the parts, they managed to escape and alerted people nearby who flocked to his shop and began destroying it while some rushed one of the injured victims to Ngokwe Health Center

Commenting on the matter Machinga police publicist Western Kamsire said police used tear gas to disperse the angry community members at the site

Kamsire said the victim was transferred to Machinga district hospital where he is receiving treatment

Following the incident over 10 people got injured and were treated at Ngokwe Health center
