ACB finalizes source book development for primary school education
Malawi will become one of the first SADC countries to integrate anticorruption education in primary schools.
This comes after Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has disclosed that it finalized development of a source book that will soon be inducted in primary school education.
The book comes at the time the country is handling a lot of corruption cases in courts and the development of a sourcebook will help equip leaners with values, for a corruption free Malawi.
ACB Director of Communication Egrita Ndala, says they have trained the trainers of trainers who include head teachers and education advisors in readiness for the teaching.
Ndala says, they are printing the book together with the Malawi Institute of Education (MIE), adding it will address knowledge gap and inculcate the Anti-Corruption culture and integrity for children to be agents of change as they grow up.
