Zomba health partners to formulate strategic plan
Lack of coordination among partners implementing health projects in Zomba has been singled out as a key issue restraining people of other areas to access health projects
This came out during a technical working group meeting for health partners held in the district
According to participants lack of coordination among partners has led to duplication of activities in some parts of the district while leaving out other areas.
The meeting therefore agreed to identify all partners rendering health services in the district and strengthen coordination among them in order to avoid the tendency of having many organizations operating in a single area
Speaking after the meeting, Anold Ndalira, Zomba district Health Office (DHO) spokesperson said this will help in making sure that all Zomba residents are reached out and minimizing wastage of resources
“Various partners in health working in the district met to discuss covid-19, its impact and challenges,” disclosed Ndalira
Zomba was the first capital city of Malawi where Malawi National Examinations Board MANEB and University of Malawi are located
