UTM Convention in November
UTM party has announced that it will hold its convention on 17th November 2024
Speaking during the press briefing in Blantyre UTM secretary General Patricia Kaliati said the party remains out of tonse alliance and has not made a coalition with any party
Kaliati warned UTM followers not to attend any government function or wear the Party’s colour clothes at public events
UTM publicity secretary Felix Njawala called on interested candidates to vie for all positions, campaign freely and uphold respect
Njawala said UTM is there to break the chains of tribalism and regionalism
Taking his turn UTM director of Youth Penjani Kaluwa says are targeting to register 2 million young people in the party by December this year
He advised the youths to participate in party politics not only speaking on social media
