Majilis Ulama Council of Malawi has condemned Israeli injustices and atrocities on Palestinians

Speaking during a press briefing in Blantyre Grand Mufti of Malawi Sheikh Muhammad Uthman Mtalika says it is improper for the world to have a blind eye on the killing of innocent palestinians

According to the grand mufti Hamas is not a terrorist group as reported by the western media hence calling upon people to read and understand the Palestinian history

In an interview secretary general of Majilis Ulama Counci Sheikh Muslim Abbas Vinjenje has called on world leaders and international human rights organisations to come together and end atrocities on palestinians

Meanwhile the council has advised President Lazarus Chakwera not to take sides on the Israel-Palestine war
