Tembo’s Funeral Unity to Continue-President

President Lazarus Chakwera has said the unity which has been shown during the funeral of John Tembo should continue for the prosperity of the country

Speaking in Dedza district Chakwera said is hopeful that the nation will critically think on building Malawi which is beneficial to all Malawians

He says Tembo was exemplary to Malawians as he was disciplined, tolerating criticisms, respecting laws, peaceful and opposing where necessary among others

Chakwera said the former MCP leader did not cling to his presidency which has been the case with other politicians

He lamented the accusations which many Malawians have on Tembo during the regime of former president Dr Hastings Kamuzu Banda

Chakwera further said Tembo when he was leader of opposition in parliament was opposing necessarily and abided by the courts when he was answering a case
