Dedza Central Constituency By-elections Launched

Malawi Electoral Commission has launched by-elections for Dedza central Constituency and Mwansa ward in Mangochi.

According to MEC chairperson Justice Chifundo Kachale the election will be held in November

He says the registration of new voters and inspection voter’s register will commence on 8^th to 22^nd October.

Kachale says the requirement for registration remains a valid national identity card issued by National Registration bureau.

Dedza central fell vacant following the death of its Member of Parliament in July but MEC suspended by-elections in Mwansa ward following complaints on registration of underage people.
