Chaos at Mloza police post over murder of businessman

There is chaos at Mloza police post in Mulanje district following the death of a businessman who was hacked by a gang of criminals’ yester night.

According to information sourced, the community is protesting against police’s delay to respond to calls made by the community to assist the victim.

In an interview with radio Islam Mulanje police publicist Innocent Moses confirmed the incident adding that police are doing everything possible to restore peace.

Meanwhile the angry mob has also destroyed and stolen property belonging to owner of edger’s Lodge in Limbuli.

Moses said investigations are underway to establish the reasons behind the inhumane act and arrest the culprits.
