African Union donates 500, 000 dollars to Malawi Cyclone Survivors

African Union AU Commissioner for Health, Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development Minata Samate has committed that her Organisation will support survivors of cyclone Freddy

Speaking during a media briefing said AU found it necessary to cheer the survivors in southern region which was mostly affected

She stressed the need of implementing long and short term measures to recover the victims from effects of the tragedy by providing basic resources

Samate disclosed that AU donated 500 thousand dollars to cyclone Freddy victims
