President assents to six bills passed by parliament

President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has assented to six bills which were passed by parliament recently

The bills include three tax amendment bills namely customs and exercise, taxation and value added tax whose objective is to collect more revenue hence forex availability

According to a press release from state house Chakwera has also assented to bill on water and sanitation project, second additional financing for social support for resilient livelihoods project and bill on appropriation
