Malawi Higher Education Institutions on Climate Change Learning network established

Establishment of Malawi Higher Education Institutions on Climate Change Learning network will help to combat that problem.

Speaking during the inaugural annual conference on climate change learning in Lilongwe, Chairperson of the network Dr Wilfred Kadewa said the development is expected to narrow knowledge gap among local professionals.

Dr Kadewa highlighted that the network is expected to provide an opportunity where the citizenry will easily access information regarding climate change

In his speech, Minister of Natural Resources and Climate change Eisenhower Mkaka revealed that government plans to establish climate change programs in all tertiary institutions to address the challenge

Mkaka said establishing the programs in universities and colleges will mitigate effects of climate change
