DPP supporters interrupt party’s conference on covid-19

At least 15 men wearing T-shirts of democratic progressive party DPP have interrupted a press briefing which some officials of the party were holding in Lilongwe

This happened few minutes after spokesperson of DPP Brown Mpinganjira introduced two issues which they had forced them to organize the conference

Soon after Mpinganjira informed the reporters that they wanted to comment on how government is managing covid 19 and another issue which they did not disclose the men entered the room

They told Mpinganjira who was accompanied by Francis Mphepo and others to stop the briefing saying “you are disturbing the party.”

According to a media invitation the party organized the conference to comment on a matter that leader of opposition in parliament Kondwani Nankhumwa was part of the group which abused covid-19 funds
