Youths embark on Malawi’s Islamic University Fundraising
Muslim Youths in the country have been advised to be proactive on things that spur Islamic development.
Aniz Ishmael one of the members of Muslim Youth United (MYU) said this in Mpemba Blantyre when the youth committee for Islamic Vision and Mission organized a fundraising event at Mariam garden in the area.
Ishmael said, youth have potential to change the way people perceive things hence the need to be on forefront in activities that spur Islamic development.
On his part IVM youth committee for Blantyre Abdullah Kaisi Mambo said the event is one of the activities they have lined up to fundraise for the university construction project in Mangochi
Speaking on behalf of those who attended the event, Raphael Yasin Chairperson of Mpemba Muslim Youth and Aida Major hailed the initiative with a promise of extending the message to other people
