Vice President urges engineers to construct sustainable infrastructures

Vice President Dr Michael Usi has urged engineers to construct infrastructures that are resilient and sustainable

Speaking at the opening of the 2024 engineering conference in Mangochi Dr Usi said engineers should take ownership of Malawi developments for the country to achieve its goals

He said government is ready to work with engineering institutions and fast-track delivery of essential infrastructure to the nation

On his part former vice president of Malawi Engineers Institute engineer Dr Paul Kulemeka called for constructive feedback on their work to overcome the challenges the engineering sector faces and raised concerns over interference of some groups in their projects
