UTM For Prosecution Of Culprits In Tractorgate

UTM President has called for the prosecution of people who mismanaged tractors which were procured by government.

Dr Saulos Chilima was speaking in Mangochi during thank you rally.

Chilima said an apology is not enough on misuse of public funds since the tractors cost a lot of government money.

“Malawians will be responsible for the repayment of the loan despite that they did not benefit,” stressed Chilima

He called upon authorities to investigate and punish those who were involved in the malpractice.

Chilima then asked people to have confidence in the court on elections case.
