US Census Bureau has urged Malawians to give enumerators in the 2018 population and housing census right information.
The bureau’s chief for international programs Oliver Fischer made the remarks during a media briefing at National Statistics office headquarters in Zomba.
Fischer said every citizen should play a role in making sure that this year’s census is successful.
“We have been working with National Statistics office for two years in preparation for the census,” Fischer said.
In her remarks commissioner of National Statistics office Mercy Kanyuka said the census has begun well.
Malawi holds the population and Housing census every ten years.
