UDF president on national wide tour

United Democratic Front UDF has stressed the need for Malawians to embrace issue based politics.

The remarks come after several quarters have been accusing UDF for losing an identity in parliament as majority of its MPs moved from opposition to ruling side.

Speaking at a rally held at Songani Trading centre in Zomba district, UDF President, Atupele Muluzi, said since joining politics he has been advocating for issue based politics.

“After 2014 campaign it was time for Malawians to come together and forge ahead with development activities that will benefit many Malawians,” Muluzi.

UDF regional governor for the East Abubakar M’baya said his party is still very strong as many people continue supporting it.
