Students damage Blantyre Islamic Mission
Blantyre Islamic Mission students have stoned and damaged assorted properties at the school last night.
This follows a displinary issue which resulted to the suspension of two of the students on Monday this week.
Some of the affected properties include cars, motor cycles, dining room, library and staff houses.
In an interview one of the sheikhs at the school whose 3 cars have also been affected, sheikh Omar Mkacherenga said was awakened by my wife and children that people were stoning the house at around 11pm yesterday.
Sheikh Mkacherenga said after inspecting the campus it was observed that more properties were also affected.
Meanwhile calm has restored at the campus and a meeting is underway to map the way forward.
Blantyre Islamic Mission is run by Muslim Association of Malawi and its spokesperson Sheikh Dinala Chabulika told Radio Islam that management was discussing the matter
