Second Deputy Speaker Of Parliament Urges Muslim Women To Learn Islam
Second deputy speaker of parliament honorable Aisha Mambo Adams has urged Muslim women to acquire more Islamic knowledge for the betterment of future generation.
Adams who is MP for Mangochi Mkungulu constituency made the remarks during the training of Muslim women in entrepreneurship which was organized by Muslim Female Teachers Organization MUFTO at IQRA propagation center in Blantyre.
Adams who was the guest of honour said “the event was of paramount importance as it has given room to Muslim women to educate and remind one another on issues pertaining to Islamic teachings.”
She appealed to fellow Muslim women to work hard and strive to attain decision making positions.
On her part Chairlady of MUFTO Sister Zackia Hafswa Noorden said they have civic educated fellow Muslim women on different businesses and empowered them with skills to defend Islam in their societies.
She expressed happiness with the number of participants at the training.
“I am happy that many women attended the training which has equipped them with necessary entrepreneurship skills and knowledge,” said Noordeen
