Roads Fund Administration hasn’t Money to pay Indigenous Contractors

Roads Funds Administration RFA says does not have money to pay indigenous contractors which it owes them.

RFA spokesperson Masauko Ngwaluko was responding to a questionnaire following a threat from the contractors that they will seize Kalinyeke and Chingeni tollgates if government fails to pay them by 24^th September

According to Ngwaluko the administration is facing cash flow challenges as such cannot commit to any specific date of paying the contractors.

He however said RFA owes the indigenous contractors K11.2 billion and not 15 billion as claimed by the latter.
