Project Pollination Team Hands Over Sewing Machines To Women

Project Pollination Team has said it is striving to uplift lives of women in the country.

Project coordinator for the Team Davie Nsato said this at the handover ceremony of sewing machines to women of group village headman Bwanaisa TA Mkhumba in Phalombe district.

Nsato said “my his organisation is doing all it can for the women to attain financial independence through business.”

He asked the women to work hard in their business in order to make a living out of it.

Speaking on the same Edina Masese one of the beneficiaries of the project was delighted to have had a training and machine.

“I will take care of the machine and use the knowledge she got from the organisation to uplift herself financially,” Masese said

Commenting on the matter, group village headman Bwanaisa asked the women not to sell the machines but use them with care.

He also asked chiefs not to misuse the machines as they have been given to women  not chiefs.

Project pollination team has also trained women in business management and marketing.
