Polytechnic to re-open January

Barely a month after classes were suspended at the Polytechnic, a constituent college of the University Of Malawi (UNIMA), management has announced that it will be re-opened on 20^th January 2020.

The college was closed following the gutting down of Nyika hostel wing in November last year.

In its press statement, UNIMA council said Malawi government through the Disaster Management Affairs has swiftly acted in providing funds to sort out the accommodation challenges.

“All students who used to occupy Nyika Hostel wing should look for alternative accommodation,” adds the statement

The college therefore said the affected students still need support hence urged well-wishers to support them in any form through the office of the Dean of students.
