Poly students apologise
Polytechnic Students Union Council PSU on behalf of all polytechnic students has expressed heartfelt apology to the general public and all concerned stakeholders for the disturbances that some misguided students caused on Wednesday August, 12.
PSU president Jaston Bulaula and Secretary General Rogers Nyirongo said the students invaded the highway and blocked access which caused congestion along Masauko Chipembere Highway.
“What happened is a backward, uncivilized and uncalled for act therefore PSU condemns it in its strongest terms.
Bulaula and Nyirongo further say Polytechnic students union council believes in contact, dialogue and any misunderstanding that may arise can be resolved at a negotiation table rather than going to the streets.
They have promised that the council will take necessary measures to ensure that such situations are avoided in the near future.
Meanwhile, Bulaula has promised to give more details on Wednesday as they are discussing with authorities.
