Police arrests CCAP members over theft

Kanengo Police Station in Lilongwe has arrested 15 members of Katondo CCAP in Area 25C on charges of theft.

Kanengo Police Spokesperson Laban Makalani told Radio Islam that 9 are males and 6 females.

“Early this month, the police station received a complaint from Reverend Robson Kapachika Phiri that the suspended members were refusing to hand over their musical equipment,” said Makalani

According to Makalani the members allege that they own the equipment because they purchased them using the money sourced through different fund raising activities.
