PLANE CRASH REPORT TO BE RELEASED TODAY
Commission of enquiry into the plane crash that killed Malawi’s vice president and eight others will present its findings today.
In a statement signed by chairperson of the commission Justice Jabbar Alide, the report will be presented at Golden peacock hotel in Lilongwe at 5 o’clock this evening.
Alide says president Chakwera has directed that the commission must present its findings to the nation before submitting it to him.
He adds, “once the report is formally published and presented to the president, copies of the report shall be made available to the public”.
The commission was instituted on 25th of October 2024 following demands from stakeholders and members of the general public
