Parliament adopts Political Party Funding motion
Parliament has adopted a motion to introduce a bill that provides a legal framework regulating administration of political party funding
Current only political parties that amass one tenth of the national vote share the 150 million kwacha funding

In the morning Parliament suspended prematurely its deliberations due to technical challenge which has been rectified
A statement signed by spokesperson for Parliament, Ian Mwenye said the technical challenge was caused by a faulty audio port in the conferencing system.
First deputy speaker of Parliament, Madalitso Kazombo suspended the deliberations while Minister of Energy, Ibrahim Matola was responding to questions in the house.
