PAC reviews year 2019

Public Affairs Committee PAC calls for dialogue on electoral reforms as the country awaits constitutional court judgment on presidential elections case.

This was said during a press briefing PAC organized in Blantyre to give review of 2019 and call to respect the ruling.

Speaking to journalists PAC chairperson Monsignor Dr. Patrick Thawale said “values of justice and integrity are important part in promoting rule of law and durable political process.”

Dr Thawale said Malawi needs comprehensive conflict resolution and peace-building mechanisms to deal with current political stalemate.

The review comes after PAC held an elective conference where they chose new office bearers.
