Organisation calls on President to discipline Government officers over SONA

Independent Civil Society Organization CSO has called on President to discipline government officials who gave him wrong information in his State of National Address (SONA).

Chairperson of the organization, Caesar Kondowe said the wrong information in the SONA is tantamount to negligence of some government officials.

Kondowe said such people need to be taken into task to avoid similar issue in future.

He however commended the president for ably articulating development projects he has done in the past four years throughout the country.

President Chakwera presented SONA in parliament which fell short of truth on some projects claimed to have been completed.
